Good evening ladies and gentlemen! First of all on behalf of Stan Culture International, let me extend our welcome and heart-filled thanks to Ms. Lorrain Hahn from CNN for her coming to give lectures to us. We also thank Prof. Li Xiguang, dean of International Communication Center and Prof. Chen Wanying of Hong Kong University for their great spote for this lecture. We also thanks the leaders and experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CCTV, CRI and experts from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Beijing Broadcasting Institute, the Macao Five-star Satellite TV for their lectures given at this seminar. I would also thank all the leaders, experts and anchors of English programs in the provinces throughout China, who have participated at this seminar. I should also thank the teachers and students from the relative universities in Beijing for their participation. During these three days the Stan Culture International also organized the symposium on investigation in the acceptance of China’s media and communication result and the high-level seminar of anchors of English programs of China broadcast and television. The Stan Culture International is a cultural body composed of media professionals, experts and scholars in related fields. We providing in the lecture spot for administration of media industry and offer new approaches to link series with practice. Let me tell you that you are enjoying the simultaneous interpretation services provided by Mr. Lu Jiaxiang, one of the first-class interpreters working for the state leaders like Li Peng and Zhu Rongji to name a few.
